Day 18: Plans/dreams/goals I have
This is a toughie, even though I’ve thought about this many times. I just want to make sure I get everything in my head down through the keyboard.
First and foremost, I want to be a lot like my father. A successful man who could get whatever he wanted done, and do a good job at it; he’s good at practically everything and one of the best parents I could ask for. I want to be as successful as he was and as knowledgeable as he is.
Second, is to make my family proud. No matter what I end up doing in life, I want to make my parents proud of me, to have them feel like every dime they invested in me didn’t go to waste. I want them to live peacefully as long as they can. I want to support them and send them constant supplies of money :]
Third, is to have a nice family. I guess being well-off in terms of salary goes in this category as I’d like to spoil my family. I want my wife to be happy and I want to be the best husband possible, one she can brag about to all her girlfriends and have them be jealous. I want to be a good dad to my kids, like my mom and dad were to me. I want to be a good role model and raise them to be smart, but not stuck up.
Lastly, and honestly, as good as this dream sounds to me, the priority is very low. I’d like to have a decent garage. Maybe 4 cars? 5 cars top if I’m swimming in money. I’d like to keep my Subaru BRZ that I’m hoping to buy to give to my son as his first car. And I’d like to keep my girlfriend’s Mazda3 to give to perhaps our daughter(perhaps trade to a speed3 by then). I’d like one really nice family car that I’d VIP a bit, perhaps a Lexus or an Audi that we could drive to dinner/family events and be classy in. I’d like a Subaru Forester to have as an outdoors car. If there’s not enough room, I’d sell the Subaru for other dream cars my (then wife) and I have, like maybe an s2000 weekend car. The last spot would be mainly for a project car. Of course, all the cars we own I will modify to my own taste, but in reality, I think that’s too many cars for one family.
So concludes my list of goals in life :]
